Winter Concert Preparation

There has been a lot of excitement in the Grade 3 room lately! We have been busy practicing for our performance at the winter concert. On February 10th, Dr. George Ferguson will be putting on a special production of "Snowmen at Night". Each grade has a different role in the performance, and the Grade 3's are very excited to show off our hard work. There is a performance at 1:30 in the afternoon and another show at 6:30 in the evening. We would love to have you join us in our winter production. Take a look at the pictures below to get a glimpse of what we have been working hard at!

Can't wait to see you there!

Back in the Swing of Things!

It's great to be back after the Christmas break! It's nice to return to our classroom routines and continue our learning where we left off. It's amazing to see how quickly the Grade 3's got back into the routine Daily 5. We tried to beat our stamina with Read to Self and Work on Writing from before the Christmas break and we beat it by a long shot! It was easy for everyone to continue our hard work and independence in Daily 5.

Everyone is adjusting nicely to the new classroom set up. The Gr. 3's were surprised to see the classroom slightly different than how they left it. We have a lot more room to move around! Take a look at the changes to our classroom.

It is so exciting to begin a new year in the Grade 3 class! 2015 will bring new excitement, new learning experiences, new challenges, and new possibilities!

If you want to make your day a little brighter, check out the video of our Grade 3 tobogganing adventures from recess.

Happy new year to you and your family!
